Yes this guide shows how u can connect a sixaxis bluetooth controller on your android device for playing games the way they are meant to. For playing games with controller on your android device with no otg cable, you can prefer this guide. This guide is super easy if followed step by step and will require a Pc to configure also. Ofcourse, your device must be rooted too. So, heres the main point behind:
- First you should need to check your android device compability for all the stuffs that we are about to perform. For this we will be using an app called SixAxis compability checker from google play.
- We will then change the bluetooth address of the SixAxis controller to pair up with android device. This will require a PC and a software named as SixAxis Pair Tool. We will be connecting the controller to pc via usb datacable, so make sure you have one.
- We will need to find our android device bluetooth address to pair up with controller and will need to enable SixAxis controller on android and for this we will be using SixAxis Controller app.

- Install the SixAxis Compability Checker app on your device and run it. Press the start button to begin the process. The app will require root permission for the process so grant it. If you have a supported device, you will get a message as device supported. If not, try in another device. Thats it, the main purpose of this app is just to check the compability.
- Install Sixaxis Pair tool on your pc. For this software to run, your pc will need to have microsoft visual studio installed. Go through the all the process and run the Pair Tool app as admin.
- Connect the controller via usb cable to the pc. The drivers will start to install and you will have your controller connected sucessfully.
- Now on your android device, install the app SixAxis Controller and open it. Enable SixAxis controller in language and keyboard setting. Click on start granting all required root permissions and press stop. You will find the Local Bluetooth Address of your android device at the bottom of the screen. Address looks something like ( 22:11:4d:88:d7:65 ).
- Write down the bluetooth address on SixAxis Pair tool on your pc. Click on update. Thats it. You can now remove the cable and try connecting the controller to android device. Just press the PS button in the controller and itll get connected to your android phone.
